Military and Airforce – Emergency and Security Services
Through the Australian Department of Defence, Diamond provided on-site remote emergency and security services to the following military bases including Bandiana, Kapooka and RAAF Base Wagga Wagga.
This contract entailed the provision of Security, Fire, Rescue, Emergency and Medical Teams for the RMV Region including three (3) Defence Bases, which are:
* Albury / Wodonga Military Area (AWMA) – total of 1421 hectares
o North Bandiana (202 hectares)
o South Bandiana (560 hectares)
o East Bandiana (68 hectares)
o East Bandiana Fire Station (used as Security Control Room)
o East Bandiana – Fire Fighting Equipment Storage Shed
o East Bandiana – Fire Station Point
o East Bandiana – Fire Station Overhead Fuel Tank
o East Bandiana – Fire Station Training Facility
o Latchford Barracks (220 hectares)
o Wirlinga (371 hectares)
* Kapooka Military Area (KPA) – total 3186 hectares
o Training Facility Area (1,986 hectares)
o Kapooka Village (1,200 hectares)
o Kapooka – Fire Station used as a Security Control Room
o Kapooka – Fire Training Pad
* RAAF Base Wagga (RBW) – total 300 hectares)
o The Base (160 hectares)
o Wagga Airport (140 hectares)
o Married Quarters
o Fire Station – (used as a Security Control Room)
o Storage Shed Fire Section

Security and Control Room Operations also encompassed:

* Screening of visitors, contractors and government personnel
